Our standard tuning service combines the finest in aural tuning with electronic sound analysis to provide the best possible tuning for your piano. This Service is designed for pianos which are on a regular schedule, typically 1-2 times per year. Does not include pneumatic player pianos, square grands, or other unique instruments.
If it's been more than 2 years since your piano was last tuned, it will be necessary to perform a pitch raise prior to the fine tuning. One or two rough passes are performed, followed by the Advanced Tuning Service.
This is the best choice if you have just purchased a used piano.
Recommended for first time customers, this service includes a pitch adjustment, fine tuning, minor repairs and adjustments to the action, pedals, and bench. On this visit, I go through the entire piano to make sure everything is up to it's potential.
This service may include pitch adjustment, tuning, minor repairs, thorough cleaning, adjustment of pedals, action regulation, hammer reshaping and voicing, tightening of all screws, and lubrication of all flanges. These items are prioritized according to need. This will render dramatic results! This is the best option if your piano has not had a major service in many years.
This is a surcharge which covers the extra time required to service these pianos.
Not needed for modern digital player pianos.
Please add this to your chosen service if it applies.
This is a thorough cleaning of the inside and outside of your piano. This includes the under-string area (soundboard) on grand pianos.
